at The Virtual Volunteer!

From the very beginning, Girl Scouts has been about developing girls' leadership.

Now we're doing it better than ever with national, outcomes-based program activities that give girls the specific knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values that will make them leaders in their own lives and in their communities.

The New Girl Scout Leadership Experience features "journeys" in which girls:

• Gain a global and multicultural perspective.
• Embrace the values expressed in the Girl Scout Law.
• Become environmentally aware and develop attitudes and self- understanding that promote healthy living.

Summer Resident Camps 2009

It's our time of summer fun! And for a Girl Scout, summer fun = resident camp!

Our Summer Resident Camp offers age-level programs with traditional camp activities, horse riding programs, camp cooking, water sports, nature observation, and sampler programs to try it all! All the information about this year's programs, schedules, and forms can be found on our Properties & Camps page

Our two resident camps (Camp Scoutshire Woods and Kamp Kiwanis) are accredited by the American Camp Association and our facilities, staff, program, sanitation and safety procedures have been evaluated and meet the highest standards!
